Hand Building - Xmas Editon

About this class:

Join us for a festive hand-building pottery class and discover the joy of working with clay!

On the first Sunday of Advent, we’ll create beautiful Christmas-inspired pieces using hand-building techniques. Make your very own mug for hot chocolate, a candle holder, a Christmas tree-shaped plate for your cookies—or anything else you can imagine. The possibilities are endless! And of course, your creations don’t have to follow the Christmas theme at all—you’re free to let your imagination lead the way!

During the class, we’ll introduce you to three hand-building techniques: slab building, coiling, and the pinch technique. With our guidance, you’ll bring your ideas to life and create unique pieces that are truly your own.

After the class, we’ll take care of the rest. Your creations will go through the careful process of bisque firing, glazing, and final firing in our studio.

Fees:

The class fee covers all necessary materials and firings for up to three pieces. Should you wish to create additional pieces, they can be fired and glazed for a small fee of 10€ per piece.

Pick up:

Your pieces will be ready in about 5-7 weeks. Once they can be picked up, we will notify you via email and you can come during opening hours. We kindly request that you collect your pieces within two months. If you are unable to do so, feel free to send a friend on your behalf.

Your teachers are Victoria Cocito and Bianca Green. Learn more about them here. Classes can be taught in German or English based on the students.

Cancelation policy:

• 14 days before class starts: 100% refundable.
• 7 days before class starts: non-refundable. Rescheduling to a different class, if available.
• Less than 7 days before class starts: non-refundable. You can send a friend to replace you.

The minimum class size is 3 students, the maximum is 6. If a class has less than 3 students, we will contact you to reschedule. Participants must be at least 16 years old.
