Open Studio

We are happy to offer OPEN STUDIO days for non-members who already have experience. Someone from the studio will always be there in case you have questions, but you will work independently on the wheel or doing hand-building. Practice your skills using everything the studio provides including clay, weels, tools and a selection of glazes. You will be able to attend to each step of the making, from shaping or throwing to trimming, handling, decorating and glazing your pieces.

Open Studio is every FRIDAY, from 4-8 PM. 

Hourly Fee: 20€

Additional costs: 9€ per kilo, per firing (bisque and glaze)

• You can use the studio as little as a few minutes to finish something and as long as 4hrs. There is no need to plan ahead as you can decide on the day. Keep in mind that cleaning after working should also be calculated into your time. 

• Check-in and out with our staff at the desk and pay once you have finished your session. We accept cash, paypal and card payment.

• You can store your work until the following week, but it will not be possible to leave personal tools or belongings at the studio. 

• Please let us know if you will be traveling or are otherwise unable to finish your work. In general, if work has been left unattended for more than 4 weeks, we will recycle greenware and remove bisque to enable enough space for others.

• If you are not sure where something goes or where to find it, please always feel free to ask studio staff. We are happy to help you and answer any questions.

• We have 6 wheels and a large hand building table. In the unlikely event that all spots are occupied, we will post on our Instagram stories that the open studio is fully booked. So stay up to date by following us here.
